Dear Lindsay Freeman:

It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected as the quarterly recipient of the Costa Mesa Mayor’s Award. You will be recognized for this achievement at the November 19, 2001 meeting of the Costa Mesa City Council, to be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. We would like to invite you and your family to join us for the presentation in your honor.

I cannot stress how impressed I was with your dedication to the Advisory Committee of Teens (ACT) as an Estancia High School representative. Your commitment to Estancia High has resulted in your current Presidency of the Key Club, as well as your involvement as a math tutor and with the ASB, all of which signify your outstanding leadership skills. In addition, as one of the founding members of the Youth Achievers at the Church of the Covenant, you continue to serve as a positive example for people of all ages. These qualities exemplify the ideals on which this Award was founded.

Your commitment to our community is admirable, and most deserving of recognition through the Mayor’s Award program. You are clearly an asset to our City.

On behalf of the City of Costa Mesa, let me express our appreciation and personal thanks for your outstanding dedication and service to the community.
