Getting help for a non-Costa Mesa resident

With limited resources for addressing homelessness, individuals who are not Costa Mesa homeless residents are encouraged to contact their cities of origin.

Homeless persons who are not residents of Costa Mesa are encouraged to contact the resources found on the resources page.

Anyone seeking assistance or seeking assistance on behalf of someone homeless may contact the 2-1-1 national help registry by dialing 2-1-1 from any landline or cell phone, or visiting www.211.org.

Returning home

If you or someone you know is homeless, and would like to return to his/her city of origin, contact the Reconnection Program.

The Reconnection Program is a partnership between the City and local churches, and assists homeless individuals in returning to their original community, if there are friends or families willing to offer permanent housing options. If this describes your situation, the Reconnection Program may be an option for you. Please contact the Network for Homeless Solutions Hotline at (714) 754-4977 for additional information.
