Getting help for someone who is not sure about Costa Mesa residency status

Services may be available for Costa Mesa residents who are homeless and meet specific criteria.  If a person meets the criteria, please contact the Network for Homeless Solutions hotline at (714) 754-4977.

However, anyone who does not meet the criteria may contact the 2-1-1 national help registry by dialing 2-1-1 from any landline or cell phone, or visiting www.211.org. Additional resources can also be found on the non-resident or resources pages.

Returning home

If you or someone you know is homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless, and would like to return to the city of origin, contact the Reconnection Program.

The Reconnection Program is a partnership between the City and local churches, and assists homeless individuals in returning to their original community, if there are friends or families willing to offer permanent housing options. If this describes your situation, the Reconnection Program may be an option for you. Please contact the Network for Homeless Solutions Hotline at (714) 754-4977 for additional information.

Additional resources may also be found in the resource guide here.
