Getting Help for Someone At-Risk of Becoming Homeless

Individuals categorized as being at-risk for homelessness are individuals who do not have sufficient resources or support networks immediately available to prevent them from moving to an emergency shelter, or are living in housing that has characteristics associated with instability and an increased risk of homelessness.

At-risk individuals may be neighbors, motel dwellers, or people you know.

Anyone who is struggling to find assistance can also contact the 2-1-1 national help registry by dialing 2-1-1 from any landline or cell phone, or visiting www.211.org.
