The City of Costa Mesa's Parks & Community Services Department coordinates and issues permits for the use of athletic fields in the City and at Newport-Mesa Unified School District sites in Costa Mesa when school is not in session.
Fields are permitted to organizations and the general public for cultural, social & recreational activities and programs. The City and the Newport-Mesa Unified School District work cooperatively in accordance with a Joint Use Agreement.

For field concerns, contact a field ambassadors from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 am to 9 p.m. on weekends at (714) 925-7241 or (714) 925-7294.
To see if fields are playable after rains, contact the City Mudline at (714) 754-5041 after 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 7:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
