Placentia Avenue Median Project

This is the design phase of a safety project that proposes implementation of raised medians on Placentia Avenue between Adams Avenue and Wilson Street. Placentia Avenue has a wide painted median within the projects limits. Placentia Avenue serves as access to the Fairview Park and installation of raised medians with landscaping will create a pleasant driving experience through the park.

Bristol Street Median Project

This is the design phase of a safety project that proposes installation of raised medians on Bristol Street between Baker Street and Newport Boulevard. Bristol Street within the project limits has a wide painted median and provides access to major retail centers including The Lab and The Camp. The installation of raised medians with landscaping will enhance the overall image of Bristol Street.

Red Hill Avenue Median Project

This is the design phase of a safety project that proposes implementation of raised medians on Red Hill Avenue between McCormick Avenue and Bristol Street. Red Hill Avenue serves as a 'Gateway' to the City and installation of raised medians with landscaping will create an aesthetically pleasing driving experience along Red Hill Avenue.

East 19th Street Improvements

Neighborhood Meeting Announcement:

  • The City of Costa Mesa Department of Public Services/Transportation Services Division will host a neighborhood meeting to discuss and receive input on improvements for East 19th Street. 
    • Day: Wednesday, January 29, 2014
    • Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
    • Place: Kaiser Elementary School-Multipurpose room, 2130 Santa Ana Avenue, Costa Mesa
