The Committee consist of seven (7) members and two alternates, each serving staggered four-year terms. The Committee shall meet every other month on the second Wednesday of the month, at 6:00 pm at City Hall in Conference Room 1A. The Committee shall comply with the Brown Act and the Fair Political Practices Act. Click here for the 2018-19 Regular Meeting Schedule.
The following are the criteria and scope of the Fairview Park Steering Committee:
  • Provide advice to the City Council regarding the implementation of the Fairview Park Master Plan.
  • Provide advice to the City Council regarding the impacts of Measure AA on Capital Improvement Program projects, maintenance and activities.
  • Present on annual report to the City Council describing the progress that has been made on implementation of the Fairview Park Master Plan and its accompanying Measure AA.
  • Recommend approval of grant applications, partnerships and volunteer activities for the maintenance and implementation of the Fairview Park Master Plan
  • Develop a comprehensive Interpretive, Guide and Regulatory Sign program that addresses cultural and biological resources as well as its history.
