Block Party Permit applications for Labor Day will open Friday, July 24, 2026 and the deadline to submit is Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Twice during the year (July 4th and Labor Day), Costa Mesa residents may request the closing of streets for block parties, pursuant to Title 9, Chapter II, Article 11 ¾ of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code and Resolution No. 04-46.

Block Party Permit applications for Labor Day on Monday, September 7, 2026 are available and the deadline to submit is Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

3. In-Person: at City Hall on the 3^rd floor. Office Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
