The 2024 General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and Costa Mesa voters re-elected Loren Gameros - District 2 and elected Mike Buley - District 1 and Jeff Pettis - District 6 to serve a four-year term on the City Council. Also, Costa Mesa voters re-elected John Stephens as Mayor to serve a two-year term.
