Host Your Event at the Norma Hertzog Community Center!

The Norma Hertzog Community Center is the City of Costa Mesa's newest rental facility. It features a large meeting room complete with a stage and integrated AV system that is suitable for wedding receptions, family events, seminars, large meetings, and classes. It also has a smaller meeting room and a lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy. This facility is perfect for any occasion!

Spaces for Rent

Costa Mesa Room

Capacity: 300 theater style maximum; 192 banquet style maximum

The Costa Mesa room is the main assembly room. It features a central stage with a removable podium, an all-new integrated AV system, and an optional dance floor. With direct access to the kitchen and the Capri Courtyard, it is a perfect space for large gatherings!

Fairview Room (available as an add-on with Costa Mesa Room rental)

Capacity: 50 theater style maximum; 24 banquet style maximum

The Fairview room is a conference room that is suitable for smaller meetings. It features an integrated AV system, as well as a podium. It can only be rented in addition to the Costa Mesa room.

Capri Courtyard (available as an add-on with Costa Mesa Room rental)

Capacity: 42 maximum

The Capri Courtyard is a lovely outdoor area complete with patio tables and chairs and features an array of foliage. It can only be rented in addition to the Costa Mesa room.

Lions Park Event Lawn (available as an add-on with Costa Mesa Room rental)

The Lions Park Event Lawn is a beautiful, large open space just outside the Norma Hertzog Community Center. It contains a central stage, outdoor power outlets, and pleasing greenery. It is seasonally available and can only be rented in addition to the Costa Mesa room. It is also only rentable for a total of 4 hours, including the time needed for set-up and breakdown.

Kitchen

The kitchen features an industrial refrigerator, freezer, and icemaker. It also includes the optional use of a portable bar.

Adams Room (located in the Donald Dungan Library)

The Adams room is a conference room that is suitable for smaller meetings. It features an integrated AV system, as well as a podium. The Adams room is a shared rental space. Please call the Community Center for details and availability.
