Camp Costa Mesa runs day camp programs during all NMUSD breaks (summer, winter, Presidents’ week, and spring break). Campers will be able to reconnect as well as make new friends as they participate in excursions (local and out of the county), sports, games, songs and skits, educational options, and arts & crafts each week.
Summer Camp Costa Mesa runs for nine weeks at Estancia Park for children entering 1st through 6th grade.
All smaller camps (winter break, Presidents’ week, and spring break) run for one to two weeks at the Balearic Community Center for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Summer Camp Costa Mesa
Summer Camp Costa Mesa operates for nine (9) weeks during NMUSD's summer recess.
Dates: June 8 - August 7, 2026
Grades: entering grades 1 - 6 for the 2026/2027 school year
Location: Estancia Park (1900 Adams Avenue)
Camp will not be in session on Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3, 2026.
As weeks fill, a waitlist will be created.

Spring Camp Calendar

1-Day Camp Costa Mesa
Camp Costa Mesa offers 1-Day Camp sessions during NMUSD non-holiday related school closure days (i.e. conference day, staff development day, etc.) for youth in grades K-6. From 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., campers will participate in scheduled games, group activities, arts & crafts, and sports.
Each session is $51 for Costa Mesa residents and $56 for non-residents per child. Registration will be available online at www.cmclassesonline.com and in person at the Downtown Recreation Center and City Hall.
