L.E.A.P. - School Year

The L.E.A.P. Program (Learn, Explore, and Play) is an early childhood program held at the Balearic Community Center (1975 Balearic Drive). The program operates from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with curriculum beginning at 9:15 a.m. and follows the Newport-Mesa Unified School District school year holiday closures and recesses. The program is designed for children 3-5 years old and prepares participants for entrance into kindergarten. The program also provides a positive social experience through recreational activities such as directed play, games, arts/crafts, and music.

Summer Camp Mini Explorers

Camp Mini Explorers is a 6-week summer program for campers 3-5 years old to explore though nature, water play, games, indoor/outdoor experiences, art, dance, and animals.

Dates: June 8 - July 17, 2026

Program Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Arrive by 9:10 a.m., curriculum starts at 9:15 a.m.

Location: Balearic Community Center (1975 Balearic Drive)

Program closed on June 19 and July 3, 2026.
